Class Descriptions:

Diaper Dare Bears (walkers - 3yrs.) This parent/child class is designed for active 1 1/2 to 2 year olds who roll and bounce around their home. Children

will be taught beginning gymnastics skills on all of our tot-sized equipment with their parents by their side. Diaper Dare Bears will enhance your child's coordination,

body awareness, strength and social skills.

Tumble Bears Our beginning pre-school program uses creative themes, games and props to teach children the basics of gymnastics. If your child has never

taken gymnastics, this is the class for them. Children will become acquainted with the terms and physical challenges related to each kid-sized event.

Gym Bears A more advanced class than Tumble Bear, our Gym Bear classes are slightly more skill-oriented, with the intent of teaching fundamental gymnastics

to those who have already been introduced to the sport. Children work on all of the Olympic events, which are sized just right for younger gymnasts.

Kinder Bears 5 year olds will become more confident in themselves as they practice the basics of each gymnastics event. The Kinder Bears class is a bridge

between the toddler and elementary school stages. It is a more skill-oriented class than the Gym Bears classes, but not as advanced as a Level One class.

Girls Level 1 This recreational class for beginners is split into groups for girls six years and older. Gymnasts learn elementary skills on the floor exercise, balance

beam, uneven bars, vault, and trampolines, with the emphasis on basics, which will be built upon higher levels. The level one classes are achievement-oriented and

non-competitive, so they provide the perfect environment for beginners to reach their full potential.

Girls Level 2 Once girls have mastered all of the basic skills in Level One, they are advanced to our Level Two classes. Our coaches instruct based on a progression

from beginning to intermediate gymnastics on all of the Olympic events. Bridges will evolve into back walkovers and cartwheels will move from floor to beam as

girls add onto skills they have perfected.

Girls Level 3 This class is designed for the gymnast at the intermediate level. Once gymnasts have mastered handstands, cartwheels, basic somersaults and

roundoffs, they can enroll in this class. Once girls have completed this class they can choose to move to our girls level 4 team or remain on the recreational track by

moving to our level 4 class, designed for the gymnast who's not interested in competitive gymnastics.

Girls Level 4 This advanced class is for girls who are not interested in competitive gymnastics, but want to continue their instruction at a recreational level.

Gymnasts will not only refine their intermediate skills, they will learn many exciting new advanced skills. Level 4 meets for an hour and a half in order to fit in a longer,

more intense workout.

Bars and Tumbling This class was created to offer extra practice to currently enrolled gymnastics and tumbling students. The emphasis will be based solely

on tumbling basics and bar strength/conditioning work. This class will be a great addition to any level 1, 2, or 3 class or tumbler who needs extra practice on basics.

(The foundation of gymnastics.)

Tumbling 1 This class will teach anyone eight years and older the basics of tumbling. Students will practice everything from handstands and cartwheels to dive

rolls and back handspring drills. Working on our spring floor, two Olympic-size trampolines, and Tumble Trak is sure to turn anyone who hasn't had much experience

into a great tumbler!

Tumbling 2 Perfect for cheerleaders or tumblers who are more experienced than our beginners. This class will emphasize confidence and correct form while

working at a higher skill level. They will be taught a variety of skills, including front and back handsprings, walkovers, and even flips! Students should have already

mastered handstands, oundoffs and back bends before entering this class.

Tumbling 3 This class will teach advanced tumblers how to build onto skills they already have mastered, as well as adding new skills to their repertoire. They will

perfect handsprings, flips, aerials, and many other exciting skills. Tumblers must be able to consistently execute a round-off back handspring on the floor by themselves

in order to register for this class.

Boys Level 1 In this recreational class for beginners, boys will learn fundamental skills on the floor exercise, pommel horse, rings, high bar, vault, parallel bars,

and trampolines, with the emphasis on basics which will be built upon higher levels. Level One is achievement oriented and non-competitive, so it provides the perfect

environment for beginners to reach their full potential.

Boys Level 2 Once boys have mastered all of the basic skills from Level 1, they advance to Level 2. Our coaches instruct this intermediate class with a balance

of fun an learning, focused on refining, conditioning, and progressing on all of the boy's Olympic events.
